PEOPLES PUZZLED PLACE
This installation was exhibited during Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA). The piece which hung from trees along the Illinois Creek Trail, acted as both a stage for artists to perform in front of, and a viewing area to watch other performances from.
This was a collaborative project created during Langsam’s residency at Breckenridge Creative Art's Tin Shop, in August 2017. The artwork is created from plywood rings which are all intertwined. Both sides of the plywood rings show small wooden pieces that are assembled similarly to a mosaic. Langsam held workshops and offered the public opportunities to come “puzzle” rings. Everyone who participated, literally got linked into the project.
